“I went to Christopher Newport for a few years to get some basic education. I didn’t know what I wanted to do, but everyone said I could come to the shipyard. I was going to do this for a year or two. I’ve been working in the Sheet Metal Department my entire time here. I’ve been fortunate enough to always do modular construction, which is how I’ve gotten to know the modules we use very well. My philosophy is to learn as much as you can, but don’t be afraid to pass that knowledge on to as many people as possible.”
