Newport News Shipbuilding’s 1,050-metric ton crane in the North Yard, also known as “Big Blue,” now has freshly painted letters and NNS and Huntington Ingalls Industries logos. Contractors recently scraped, primed and painted the crane’s girders. Watch a time-lapse video of the paint job on MyNNS.
