Newport News Shipbuilding employees can now reach the NNS Security Command Center (SCC) by simply dialing 911 from a company landline, as well as *911.

The additional 911 option was included on “The Mission Starts With Us” badges distributed during the June town halls with President Jennifer Boykin.

To reach NNS security via a mobile device, employees should continue to use 757-380-2222. The non-emergency number remains 757-380-4031

Security and Emergency Management (O15) provides uniformed security along with fire, rescue and emergency assistance as well as other essential services.
