Earth Day Coloring Contest

This year, the NNS Earth Day Coloring Contest is for children ages 4-17 to draw and color their favorite aquatic animal to be considered for placement onto NNS’ new storm drain stickers. Kids can choose to draw their favorite fish, crab or other aquatic animal to remind shipbuilders what they are protecting by keeping our drains to the river clean. All entries must use the NNS coloring contest 2024 circle or rectangle template provided, and the form must be filled out completely for your child’s artwork to be considered. There will be a winner selected from each age group – 4-10 and 11-18 – on April 22. All winners will receive a 2024 Earth Day T-shirt and certificate. Send all artwork to Nicole Lawrence, Bldg. 79-1/Room 108, 4101 Washington Ave., Newport News, VA 23607, by April 19. For more information, call 757- 688-3159.
