The labor cost transfer (LCT) certification process is outlined in NNS policy SSO 10-407 and can be found on MyNNS in NNS Command Media. Per this NNS policy, shipbuilders whose time is transferred by an LCT are required to certify that the hours moved to another charge were in fact correct.

This process is imperative in ensuring NNS remains compliant with timekeeping practices.

Additionally, per this policy, this process includes an escalation process where the LCT Certification report is escalated to the next chain in command every 30 days until the certification is addressed.

The LCT Certification e-mails are system-generated and can sometimes be mistaken as spam. However, these are legitimate requests requiring a response.
