The American Cancer Society is hosting its 2023 Peninsula Relay For Life Kickoff at Coastal Fermentory, located at 206 23rd St. in Newport News, from 5 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25. Newport News Shipbuilding employees and their families and friends are invited to attend to support the American Cancer Society, which works to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat and survive cancer. In support of Relay for Life, Coastal Fermentory will donate 10% of sales and 100% of all tips toward this year’s NNS Relay For Life fundraising goal.

NNS is a presenting sponsor of the 2023 Relay for Life event, which will be held Saturday, May 6 at Todd Stadium in Newport News. Employees can sign up to create a team, register or make a donation online.
