Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 to highlight the independence of several Latin American countries. In a country with a Latino population of more than 60 million people whose families have been in the United States for centuries, Newport News Shipbuilding and HII are proud to recognize how the achievements and contributions of this diverse community have shaped the success of our company and our nation as a whole.
