Newport News Shipbuilding Talent Acquisition is accepting applications for 2022 summer internship opportunities for college students enrolled in an associate degree or similar technical program related to shipbuilding.

Programs include electrician, fitter, machinist, marine coatings, metal fabrication, pipefitter, rigger and welding. To qualify, students must be at least 18 years old, U.S. citizens, have a 3.0 cumulative GPA, have completed one year of their associate program and be available to work on either first or second shift for a minimum of 10 weeks this summer.
