The United Way Day of Caring is Sept. 17. It is the community’s largest day of the year for volunteering, bringing together hundreds of volunteers from across the Peninsula to create a positive impact on local nonprofits and public service agencies helping neighbors in need. This year, United Way is seeking 1,000 volunteers to complete more than 40 projects. Volunteers can register for a project as an individual or as a team.
