Debunking Vaccine Myths

Myth: COVID-19 vaccines can cause a vaccinated person to release viral particles and risk the health of others around them.
Fact: That would require the vaccine to use a weakened form of the virus itself. No COVID-19 vaccines approved for use in the U.S. contain the live virus, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), so that can’t happen.
