Newport News Shipbuilding’s O18 Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) Office is proud to announce the return of the ED&I Monthly Panel Discussion Series in 2023. Over the past two years, the ED&I Office has collaborated with leaders and advocates for engagement, diversity and inclusion across all divisions of NNS, as well as the HII Corporate Office, Ingalls Shipbuilding and Mission Technologies.

These courageous conversations were designed to bring awareness and education to various topics that impact employees’ everyday lives but may be difficult or uncomfortable for people to discuss openly. Continuing these conversations brings normalcy to how shipbuilders approach life at work and outside of work with an open mind while being receptive to understanding, celebrating and embracing different perspectives.

Join the ED&I Office for the first panel discussion of the year, “Why We Cannot Wait Until Tomorrow – The Urgency Is Now,” from 4:30 until 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 9.
