Registration is open for the Newport News Shipbuilding 5K Walk and Run. The race will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Victory Landing Park in downtown Newport News. In addition to the 5K, there will be fun for the entire family, including games, prizes and a health expo. Participants will receive a T-shirt and be entered into prize drawings.
