Join VIBE and HOLA, and discover our shared legacy and explore the stories that connect shipbuilders, sailors, and the sea. Newport News Shipbuilding employees and their families are invited to enjoy free admission to The Mariners’ Museum on February 21 for a special day celebrating the enduring partnership between the Shipyard and the Museum.  This event highlights the impact of shipbuilding on maritime history and honors the people who have helped shape it. Attendees may explore the Museum at their own pace or take advantage of NNS-themed gallery guides and kids’ scavenger hunts, designed to make the experience engaging for visitors of all ages.  Guests can also participate in guided tours led by some of the Museum’s most knowledgeable guides—many of whom are former Newport News Shipbuilding employees. Guided tours will be offered at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 2:00 PM. Advance registration is required for these tours.  We look forward to welcoming you and your family for a meaningful day of connection, learning, and pride in our shared history. This FREE event is open to all NNS employees. No time charge will be provided.
