SHIPs Network will be facilitating a Resume Workshop, in collaboration with Project Management Shipbuilders Association (PMSA), to assist mid-career NNS employees with developing and improving their resumes. Evaluators from Talent Acquisition will provide tips and constructive feedback. Attendees should bring their resumes. In-person attendance recommended. The event is from 4-6 p.m. at NetCenter (Suite 129) or via WebEx. There is no charge provided for this event. For any questions, email [email protected].

This Lunch & Learn event highlights the BeWell For Life wellness programs and services, and how employees can strengthen their health and overall wellbeing. This event is open to all HII employees. Registration is open for the Newport News Shipbuilding 5K Walk and Run. The race will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Victory Landing Park in downtown Newport News. In addition to the 5K, there will be fun for the entire family, including games, prizes and a health expo. Participants will receive a T-shirt and be entered into prize drawings.
