Newport News Shipbuilding’s Apprentice School is hosting its next FORWARD (Future Opportunities Reaching the Workforce Apprentice Readiness and Development) Pre-Apprenticeship event on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 8:30-11:30 a.m.

This event is for high school students and will include hands-on demonstrations in a virtual simulation lab, a short tour of The Apprentice School and a Q&A session.

Registration opens on Saturday, June 27, at 8:30 a.m. Seats are limited for this event. Student tickets are $5, and parent/guardian tickets are free.
