Group Rider

Zone A passes are available for employees who commute to work with three or more shipbuilders. To apply for an NNS Group Rider hangtag, visit the MyNNS Parking and Transportation website. If you do not have computer access, please seek assistance from your supervisor.

One hangtag will be distributed per the group and employees listed on the application will be required to surrender their assigned Zone hangtag. If the group is unable to ride together and/or if an individual rides separate from the group, the employee should park in an NNS lot that does not require a hangtag (Hidens) or use city street parking or a paid parking lot.

NNS Rideshares

Newport News Shipbuilding employees can view and post rideshares on the MyNNS Parking and Transportation website. To protect the safety of shipbuilders and the legitimacy of all rideshares, posted information is only available on the company’s intranet.

Employees who would like to access current rideshare offerings or post a rideshare, should seek assistance from their supervisor.
