HII Employees Impact International Cost Estimating Community

Six employees representing HII’s three divisions – Newport News Shipbuilding, Ingalls Shipbuilding and Mission Technologies, as well as the corporate office – recently attended the 2023 International Cost Estimating Analysts Association (ICEAA) Professional Development and Training Workshop.

Kevin Hewitt and Sean Wells helped to kick off the weeklong event by hosting and sitting on the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) forum panel. In addition to estimating techniques, common topics during the week included employee acquisition and retention, machine learning and soft skills.
