HIIPAC made a change this year. It will no longer only support pro-defense candidates to the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate. Now, it will work to elect candidates who support Newport News Shipbuilding business goals to statewide offices in Virginia.

HIIPAC is the voluntary, employee-funded and employee-managed entity used to support the election of lawmakers who believe in robust national security, the importance of our nation’s defense industrial base, and support HII’s efforts at providing mission-critical national security solutions to government and commercial customers.
