Newport News Shipbuilding’s annual 5K is more than a race – it’s a chance to come together, support wellness and build connections.

This year’s race will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Victory Landing Park in downtown Newport News.

“I participate in the NNS 5K because it brings shipbuilders together and builds camaraderie,” said Marcus Jackson (O05). “Running in the streets where we dedicate our time and talent to building great ships adds an extra layer of pride.”

Whether running, walking, volunteering or cheering from the sidelines, take part on Saturday to make this year’s 5K bigger and better. Pace doesn’t matter – participation does.
