The Learning Exchange (LX) is Newport News Shipbuilding’s current learning management system that tracks training and certifications. It directly supports the business of building aircraft carriers and submarines.

LX will soon be upgraded to enhance system functionality. The tentative “go live” date for the improved software is Sept. 19, which will be preceded by a one-week blackout period from Sept. 9-18. As the go live date approaches, additional information on what to expect and how to prepare will be available. Check the communications section of the LX Resources page on MyNNS for updates regarding the upgrade. Stakeholders and advanced role users will receive additional updates via email.
