In order to best support training and development, a new learning management system (LMS) will go live in July. Newport News Shipbuilding will transition from the current Learning Exchange (LX) system to a new platform, MyLearning. This includes SuccessFactors software, which is already utilized across HII. MyLearning will replace LX as the official system of record for training at NNS.

MyLearning benefits include:

• A user-friendly interface with a modern look and feel.
• Access to new features.
• Automated training notifications and reminders.
• Improved search functionality.
• Ability to add training to your Outlook calendar.
• Integration with other SuccessFactors modules, such as MyHR.

“This initiative aims to empower our workforce and enhance our organizational capabilities by providing an updated and improved learning management system,” said Michelle Gareau (O12), director of Learning and Development.
