Beginning Monday, April 7, shipbuilders on first shift will have access to 700 new parking spaces at NetCenter, 5200 West Mercury Blvd., with transportation to and from the shipyard’s North Yard (Joint Manufacturing Assembly Facility (JMAF) gate and HRT stop). These spaces are in addition to the parking spaces currently used by employees who work at NetCenter.

Newport News Shipbuilding is adding additional shuttles to all park-and-ride routes starting next week to account for an anticipated increase in ridership. NNS Park-and-ride shuttles will run continuously with wait times less than 15 minutes between each shuttle during peak hours (5 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.). Outside of peak hours, shipbuilders should call (757) 846-7730 to arrange for transportation.
