Newport News Shipbuilding recently polled shipbuilders to name its new logo store. Hundreds weighed in and the winning name is NNS Outfitters.

NNS Outfitters will celebrate a soft launch in Bldg. 500, across from the clinic on Washington Avenue, in December. An official grand opening is planned for 2026.

Shipbuilders are encouraged to visit and shop for high-quality, low-cost NNS-branded apparel, accessories and more.

Details will be available about the store, including in-yard shopping opportunities, as plans progress.
