Newport News Shipbuilding employees who commute via carpool or vanpool have a new parking opportunity: the Newport News Transit Center at 35th Street.

Hampton Roads Transit, in partnership with TRAFFIX, has designated parking spots available at the newly renovated center for NNS employees who are registered carpool/ vanpool users.

Carpooling or vanpooling are great options for employees interested in saving money on gas, preventing wear and tear on your personal vehicle and reducing your carbon footprint. Simply register your carpool by visiting GoTraffix.com/programs/park-ride.
