Newport News Shipbuilding is accepting applications for 2027 summer internships through November.

Paid summer internships at NNS offer college students an opportunity to gain real-world experience. Internships are a minimum of 10 weeks long, beginning in May and ending in August.

Students must have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA, be able to work 40 hours per week and be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program. Housing assistance is available for the internship period.
