The Engagement Office at Newport News Shipbuilding hosted a variety of events during Employee Appreciation Week, March 7 to 14, drawing shipbuilders to panel discussions and other activities.

The kick-off event with Sweet Frog allowed shipbuilders to familiarize themselves with the week’s events and register to participate.

The rest of the week featured professional development panel sessions, financial and community service lunch and learns, and a day at the HII Family Health Center to complete the Know Your Numbers program.

The Employee Engagement Expo on March 12 featured more than 20 groups, representing safety, Learning After the Whistle, NNS Gives, SeekNNS, engagement champions, communities of practice, plus departments and employee resource groups.
