Newport News Shipbuilding honored the contributions, work ethic and innovation of 82 shipbuilders from across the company during the 2025 Model of Excellence Awards ceremony Saturday, Oct. 11.

“Model of Excellence recipients are Always On Display,” said NNS President Kari Wilkinson. “You are the ones who set the bar only to raise it again – the ones that inspire, lead and drive us to be the best team we can be, and I am so very grateful to each of you.”
