Newport News Shipbuilding Talent Acquisition will be hosting a series of virtual hiring events this fall to fill numerous trades positions. The next virtual hiring event for riggers (X36) and sheet metal workers (X32) will be held on Nov. 10. The deadline to apply is Nov. 3.

NNS is offering $500 sign-on bonuses to sheet metal worker trainee new hires, $500 sign-on bonuses to entry-level rigger and sheet metal worker new hires, and $1,000 sign-on bonuses to experienced rigger and sheetmetal worker new hires. Job seekers who apply through Dec. 31 are eligible for the sign-on bonuses. The sign-on bonuses are for external new hires, current NNS employees are ineligible.
