Newport News Shipbuilding Talent Acquisition will host open-to-the-public, walk-in hiring events for trades job opportunities every Wednesday through March 22.

Events will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the NNS Employment Office, located at NetCenter (Suite 176, Entrance 3). Job seekers will have the opportunity for an interview and an on-the-spot job offer, if qualified.

Jan. 18 – X11 Fitter and X18 Welder
Jan. 25 – X31 Electrician and X32 Sheetmetal Worker

Feb. 1 – X42 Pipefitter and X43 Outside Machinists
Feb. 8 – X33 Blaster, Insulator and Painter and X36 Rigger
Feb. 15 – X11 Fitter and X18 Welder
Feb. 22 – X31 Electrician and X32 Sheetmetal Worker

March 1 – X42 Pipefitter and X43 Outside Machinists
March 8 – X33 Blaster, Insulator and Painter and X36 Rigger
March 15 – X11 Fitter and X18 Welder
March 22 – X31 Electrician and X32 Sheetmetal Worker
