Newport News Shipbuilding hosted advance screenings of “Top Gun: Maverick” last week for select groups of shipbuilders from all three shifts outside of work hours.

The movie includes scenes filmed on NNS-built aircraft carriers USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) and USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72).

In addition to the advance screenings, NNS is providing ticket vouchers for 1,200 employees to view “Top Gun: Maverick” at their convenience while it is still showing in AMC Theatres. Divisions are handling ticket voucher distribution.
