Julia Jones, vice president of Manufacturing and Facilities, gave the keynote address Friday at the YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas’ launch of its new Women’s Leadership Resource Network. Jones serves on the board of directors for the YMCA and encouraged members of the employee resource group to think big when determining its mission.

“I encourage you to think about what your vision is for your new group,” Jones said. “Don’t create glass ceilings for what this group can accomplish. When we’re empowered, and when we work together, there’s no limit to what we can do.”

The YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas represents 17 centers across southeastern Virginia.
