Newport News Shipbuilding and the American Red Cross are hosting an in-yard blood drive from 7:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Bldg. 4931 (PCU Room).

Shipbuilders who would like to donate should visit www.redcrossblood.org and use code “NNS4931″ or use the Blood Donor American Red Cross App, where they can locate their donor card and complete rapid pass check-in. If there are any issues with scheduling, contact Christina Charnock or Amber Jenkins via email.

A charge will be provided for shipbuilders who donate. Donors are reminded to eat a healthy breakfast and drink plenty of water the day of their donation. See the Distribution A memo for more information.
