Newport News Shipbuilding will undergo a Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) security review Aug. 11-15. The review will assess the effectiveness of NNS’ industrial security programs and ensure compliance with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual mandates. The evaluation will focus on all security-related matters and will occur on all shifts.

Help ensure that NNS receives a superior rating by:

• Confirming the DCSA security reviewer’s identity before sharing information.
• Fully demonstrating your security knowledge and ability to protect classified holdings.
• Knowing the name of your department security representative.
• Knowing that Clarence Watford is the NNS facility security officer.
