Newport News Shipbuilding is launching MyLearning, its new learning management system, on July 27. MyLearning is replacing Learning Exchange (LX) as the official system of record for training at NNS.

LX will be unavailable beginning on Monday, July 20. Please ensure all LX training(s) are complete prior to this date.

MyLearning will provide easier access to training and development resources, simplify the learning process and improve tracking for required training, certifications and compliance.

To prepare for the transition from LX to MyLearning, shipbuilders may attend a MyLearning lunch and learn session. These sessions, designed for either learners or managers, begin June 9.

The learner-focused lunch and learn will include:

• An overview of new platform.
• Basic navigation, including how to register for training and view learning history (transcript).
• MyLearning resources.

The manager-focused lunch and learn will include:

• Basic learner navigation.
• An overview of the manager role, including assisting your team.
• A dashboard that includes viewing team member training and assigning training to team members.
• Running reports and viewing history for your team.
