Newport News Shipbuilding Talent Acquisition will continue hosting open-to-the-public “walk-in” hiring events for trade opportunities every Wednesday through Dec. 13. Events are held at the NNS Employment Office, located at the NetCenter (Suite 176, Entrance 3), from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Job seekers will have the opportunity for an interview and “on the spot” job offer, if qualified.

Since the “Walk-in Wednesday” events started in January, more than 5,000 job seekers have been interviewed, with thousands receiving on-the-spot job offers.

NNS employees are encouraged to share these hiring event opportunities. Employees who refer a trade candidate who is hired could earn a $1,000 employee REFER cash bonus award.
