Newport News Shipbuilding is hosting 175 interns this summer, including two at NNS Charleston Operations and one in Washington, D.C. The college students represent 68 different schools.

Forty-five interns returned for their second year with NNS, and 11 returned for their third.

Interns arrived on a staggered basis in late May and will work at NNS for 10 weeks.
