Pedestrian safety begins with understanding and following the basics: Always use crosswalks when available, obey traffic
signals, and look both ways before crossing the street. These simple actions can greatly reduce the risk of accidents and make our shipyard safer.

Pedestrian safety responsibility doesn’t solely rest with pedestrians. Drivers also play a significant role in ensuring the safety of those on foot by yielding to pedestrians on designated walkways and cross walks.

Safety is a shared responsibility, and together, we can create an environment where everyone can traverse throughout the yard regardless of time with confidence and peace of mind.

In order to support pedestrian ingress and egress as well as the shuttle busses that transport our employees to their designated work areas, effective March 3rd, 2025 the No-Drive Times will be consolidated to the following:

• 12:00 p.m. to 12:10 p.m. (first shift)
• 3:30 p.m. to 3:40 p.m. (second shift)
• 12:00 a.m. to 12:10 a.m. (third shift)
