No One Should Go Hungry: Holiday Food Drive Starts Nov. 6
Published October 18, 2023
Thousands of Virginia Peninsula residents are struggling, forced to make the choice between food and other critical needs. Nobody should face the fear of food insecurity. Newport News Shipbuilding employees have the ability to help their neighbors get the food that strengthens their bodies, minds, families and communities.
Starting Nov. 6, shipbuilders are encouraged to participate in the NNS Holiday Food Drive by bringing food items to work, making online donations or using YourCause to set up payroll deductions in support of the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank.
