To help minimize illness and prevent a surge in positive COVID-19 cases at Newport News Shipbuilding, the following precautionary measures are now in effect:

• Employees working in an area where social distancing isn’t possible should consider wearing a mask, regardless of vaccination status.
• In-person social gatherings are restricted to outdoor events where social distancing can be accomplished.
• For meetings where social distancing cannot be achieved, WebEx is strongly encouraged instead of in-person meetings. In cases when in-person, indoor meetings are required, masks are recommended for all participants, including presenters.
