Organizational Update from Caccavale, Horne and Beale

Published July 18, 2024

Dear Shipbuilders,

As announced earlier this week, we are restructuring our Trades and Navy Programs organizations to better align with today’s environment, challenges and work scope. We spent the past few days working with directors across both organizations to finalize the new operating structure, and we’d like to thank these leaders for their insight and perspective.

While certain job functions have changed, there are no reductions in force occurring as a result of this restructuring. As we move forward, we need everyone to remain focused on our work at hand – to safely build the highest quality ships for the U.S. Navy – on schedule and budget.

The attached charts detail the new Navy Programs structure through the director level. As previously mentioned, but not included in the charts, the Trades Business Office (TBO) is being realigned under Human Resources to create the new Human Resources and Trades Administration division. Corey Beddingfield will continue to serve as director of the TBO, reporting to Xavier Beale. We are currently working with the director team to finalize their new organizations, and we expect all changes through the manager 3 level to be complete by the end of July. Please take a moment to review the attached charts on MyNNS.

Respectfully,

Bryan Caccavale
Vice President, Navy Programs

David Horne
Vice President, Trades

Xavier Beale
Vice President, Human Resources
