NNS is currently conducting a pilot program that allows shipbuilders to take shuttles from Hidens to three stops inside the shipyard gates – the Joint Manufacturing Assembly Facility (JMAF), the Steel Production Facility (SPF) and Outfitting Berth 1 (OB1). NNS Security (O15) is staged outside of NNS shuttles at each Hidens shuttle stop to scan shipbuilders’ badges prior to entering the shuttle. Once full, they will transport shipbuilders into the yard.

Shuttle stops: Located within the parking lot.

Shuttles are available from 3:30 a.m. until a.m. during summer hours. Shuttles run continuously during peak summer shift times (4 to 7 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.). Wait times are longer than 15 minutes).

• Outside of peak hours, call 757-846-7730 to arrange for transportation (wait times typically range from 20-25 minutes).
