Registration is open for the 2025 Storm Hackathon, which will bring together the brightest minds from industry and academia to use technology to solve challenges in the maritime industry.

HII is partnering with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for the event, which will be held at Christopher Newport University on March 28-29.

Over 24 hours, participants will leverage AWS solutions, other cutting-edge technologies and their own ingenuity to solve a given problem chosen by NNS.

Both CNU students and NNS employees are welcome to participate. The event will include 12 teams of five people each, with prizes given to the top three teams in addition to the People’s Choice Award.
