The Newport News Shipbuilding payroll office reminds shipbuilders of the following:

• Off-cycle checks are normally available after 3 p.m. Shipbuilders will receive a notification when the check is ready for pickup.
• W2 and hourly paystub reprint requests will be available for pickup after 12:30 p.m. the following business day. Reprint requests for two months or greater will be available within five business days. In-person requestors should complete the request form and drop it into the drop box located in the payroll office.
• Salaried PTO accrual for the pay period may take up to two days to update in MyTime.
• Per federal guidance, all employees who claimed exempt from withholding in 2024 have been changed to “Single, No Exemption” status. To claim exempt status for 2025, shipbuilders must submit a new IRS form W-4 and state exemption certificate to payroll.
• Address changes should be sent to Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
• Benefits questions should be sent to the NNS Benefits Office, or shipbuilders may call (757) 380-2268.
