June 1 marks the beginning of the Atlantic hurricane season, which runs through Nov. 30. In the event inclement weather threatens the region, shipbuilders should call the Newport News Shipbuilding Employee Information Phone Line at 1-877-871-2058 or check the NNS to Go app for information regarding the status of shipyard operations.

In addition to the phone line, employees are reminded of other NNS communication channels, including company email, NNS President Kari Wilkinson’s Facebook page, MyNNS and MyHII.
