Newport News Shipbuilding is evaluating recent updates to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance regarding face masks and social distancing. Because state and health leaders are currently reviewing Virginia’s mask mandate and have not yet changed their guidance, our mask and social distancing policies remain in effect. We are working with these leaders and expect to come through new guidance very soon.

We will provide updates to NNS operations as decisions are made.
