This year, Employee Appreciation Week will include a special visit from the Red Cross emergency response vehicle (ERV). Thanks to the Newport News Shipbuilding family and their generous donations in 2022, the Red Cross was able to purchase the new ERV to deliver disaster relief to local communities.

NNS employees will get a firsthand look at the ERV and collect a token of appreciation Thursday, March 9, at these designated locations:

• 5:30-7 a.m.
  46th Street gate

• 7:15-8:30 a.m.
  600 parking lot
• 8:45-9:30 a.m.
  VASCIC parking lot
• 9:45-10:30 a.m.
  Parking lot between Bldg. 903 and Community Services Board building
• 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  520 parking lot/Dorothy

• 2-4:30 p.m.
  50th Street gate
