Newport News Shipbuilding is committed to supporting the American Cancer Society to help fight for a world without cancer. The Relay For Life event symbolizes the ongoing battle against cancer, promoting healthy living, personal connections and serving as a beacon of hope for those affected by the disease.

Relay For Life is less than two weeks away. One in three people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Your support is needed.

Help NNS reach its goal of $45,000. Shipbuilders can use their generosity to make a difference:

• Go to relayforlife.org/NNS to donate to an NNS team of your choice.
• Purchase a Relay For Life T-shirt for $15 each. Use the order form to get yours. Quantities are limited.
• Order luminarias and add your own message. Luminarias are on sale for $10 each or three for $25. Use the order form before May 15.
• Attend the Relay For Life event on Saturday, May 17, and bring your family and friends. Sponsors will host booths with games and giveaways. There will be entertainment, a kids’ area and food trucks. Admission is free.
