Newport News Shipbuilding is sponsoring the 2024 Relay For Life Virginia Peninsula, supporting the American Cancer Society’s mission to fight for a world without cancer. Join the Relay For Life Kick-Off event on Wednesday, Jan. 10 at Coastal Fermentory. Celebrate last year’s highest-performing teams and learn about the plans for this year’s event. The presentation starts at 6 p.m. A percentage of the beverage and food sales will benefit the American Cancer Society and kick-start the fundraising for the NNS Relay For Life team.

Shipbuilders and their families are encouraged to participate this year by creating a Relay For Life team, joining a team or by attending the event from 5-10 p.m. on Saturday, May 4. Show your support for those who have been affected by cancer and come together in remembrance of those who lost the battle against this deadly disease.
