Relay For Life is a celebration of hope, courage and resilience. Newport News Shipbuilding is proud to sponsor the event in support of the American Cancer Society.

This year’s theme is Shipbuilders Strong – Fighting Against Cancer, which sends a powerful message to the community and those affected by cancer that shipbuilders can and will ban together for a worthy cause.

Join the fight against cancer and help NNS reach its donation goal of $45,000 by getting involved:

• Go to relayforlife.org/NNS to donate, register, and create or join a Relay For Life team.
• Order luminarias and add your own message. The cost is $10 for one bag, or $25 for three. Filled with light, luminarias will line the track in remembrance of those who have been affected by cancer. Complete this form to order luminarias.
• Purchase a Relay For Life T-shirt for $15 each. Use this order form to place your order. There are limited quantities of T-shirts.
• Attend the Relay For Life event on May 2 and bring family and friends. The event will be from 5-9 p.m. at Todd Stadium in Newport News.

Shipbuilders are not obligated to attend the event after creating a team or joining a team.
