April is National Volunteer Month, and NNS Gives encourages all Newport News shipbuilders to support local communities. Whether you volunteer for a company-sponsored program or event, or a local nonprofit, school or church, shipbuilders make a difference. It’s time to recognize and celebrate those efforts.

Join the NNS Gives Team at Coastal Fermentory from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, for an opportunity to meet fellow volunteers and learn more about volunteer programs. The event will include an award ceremony, limited quantities of NNS Gives swag and light appetizers.

In addition, Coastal Fermentory is donating 10% of its sales and 100% of the tips from the evening to Relay For Life. All volunteers and shipbuilders are encouraged to attend this event. It is open to the public.
