Newport News Shipbuilding employees are reminded to be vigilant at all times, especially when entering or exiting an NNS facility.

When entering or exiting a door to an NNS facility, shipbuilders should make sure it closes behind them. “Piggybacking” through secure doors or turnstiles also is prohibited. Shipbuilders should immediately report any incidents to NNS Security.

If you see something, say something. Shipbuilders should report any suspicious activity on NNS property – including parking lots – to NNS Security. The Security Command Center (SCC) can be reached by dialing 911 from a company landline phone. To reach NNS Security from a mobile device, shipbuilders should dial 757-380-2222.
